整部電影裡給我印象最深的便是那本《A Moveable Feast》和熟透了的梨子。
這本書最初的出現是伴著嘈雜讀書聲但安靜圖書館裡一位長者的朗誦：
（You expected to be sad in the fall. Part of you died each year when the leaves fell from the trees and their branches were bare against the wind and the cold, wintry light.） But you knew there would always be the spring, as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason.
他把書放在她的枕邊，“You knew there'd always be a spring”，於是她去圖書館找書的主人，遇見他。
As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine. I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy
他想知道味道到底是什麼樣子的，讓她像海明威那樣描述梨子的味道：
Sweet
Juicy
Soft on your tongue
Grainy like a sugary sand that dissolves in your mouth
其實他更想知道愛情的味道。
於是為她不顧一切從高空跌下成為凡人，嚐到血的味道，開心的像個孩子蹦著跳著。
而就在這一切都好起來的時候，她騎單車都那麼幸福，卻是出了車禍，路上有跌落的梨子。
《I Grieve》響起的時候，雨水傾瀉，歡笑的孩童，只有悲傷的他，還有梨子的味道。
愛情，永遠定格在盛開狀態。
I would rather have had one breath of her hair
one kiss of her mouth
one touch of her hand
than an eternity without it
One……
這個One
還有梨子的味道，還有海浪的味道……
經典的電影總離不開經典的音樂，就像我傾注於太多感情Elliott Smith的《Good Will Hunting》。
與此不同的是Goo Goo Dolls的《Iris》，滄桑沙啞的聲線，動情的演唱，渲染著影片悲憫深情的愛之主題，而這種悲憫之中又蘊涵著激情，給人勇氣去直面真實而又平凡的人生。點題之作《Angel》在我看來，是全碟中最為清澈溫暖的一曲。Sarah Mclachlan舒緩的嗓音，行雲流水般的鋼琴聲，宛如一股清泉從聽者心中流淌而過，撫慰著你所有源於過去的傷痛與苦楚。當你閉上疲憊的雙眼，在靜夜裡聆聽這首歌，你能看到天使在夜空中緩緩飄過。當它消逝之時，淡淡傷感中綻放的美麗與這首歌一起已在你心中烙下了難以磨滅的印記。
最後，Gariel Yared以飄渺的女和聲，細膩滑落的吉他和絃，悽婉的小提琴，悲憫大氣的絃樂為影片優美的主題意境畫上了圓滿的句號。
