當下，新型冠狀病毒感染的肺炎疫情成為全世界
關注的焦點。目前，除中國以外，全球包括美國、加拿大、法國、德國、泰國、新加坡等在內的多個國家已出現確診病例。
隨著疫情的發展，不少國家以各種方式表達了對中國的幫助和支持，但令人感到難過和憤怒的是，海外多地出現了針對華人甚至亞洲人群的歧視性事件。
據BBC報道，不久前法國《皮卡爾信使報》（Le Courrier Picard）發表了帶有明顯歧視性標題的文章——《黃色警告》（Alerte jaune (Yellow alert) ）和《黃禍？》（Le péril jaune? (Yellow peril?)），此舉引發當地亞洲群體的強烈不滿。

網友們紛紛在社交媒體上打出“我不是病毒”（JeNeSuisPasUnVirus (I'm not a virus)）的話題標籤，表達對抗議。
I'm Chinese, but I'm not a virus!I know everyone's scared of the virus but no prejudice, please.
我是中國人，但我不是病毒！我知道每個人都害怕病毒，但請不要抱有偏見。
並不是每個中國人都被感染了，所以停止你們的歧視言論。這太荒唐了。

反種族歧視和反猶太主義國際聯盟負責人Stéphane Nivet表示，沒有報紙敢用“黑色警告”做標題，所以很清楚這是有問題的。
Stéphane Nivet, head of Licra (the International League against racism and anti-Semitism), said no newspaper would have dared use the headline "Black alert" so it was clear there was a problem.
據報道，《皮卡爾信使報》很快道歉，並承認自己所為是“最糟糕的亞洲刻板印象”。
When called out, Le Courier Picard apologized for its headlines and admitted they were examples of the "worst Asian stereotypes".
無獨有偶，日前，德國發行量最大的嚴肅時政類週刊《明鏡》（Der Spiegel）在新一期的封面赫然寫著“新型冠狀病毒，中國製造——當全球化成為致命危險”。
而“Made in China”（“中國製造”） 一行，特地加大字號，並使用黃顏色進行了突出，與圖片配合起來，整體效果非常具有煽動性。

《明鏡》上述封面引起讀者廣泛批評和不滿，不少網友在其推特賬號相關推文下留言，批評該封面有失水準，是種族歧視。
這個“中國製造”的標題真沒水平。
最大的危險不是病毒或者全球化，而是種族主義和愚昧。
事實上，在這個我此時居住的國家，人們會稱這樣的標題為“種族主義的”。
當地時間1日，中國駐德國大使館就此表明立場稱，製造恐慌、相互指責、甚至種族歧視毫無益處，我們對此表示鄙視。全球性挑戰需要全球共同應對。希望德有關媒體也與各方一起共同承擔起責任來。
"Releasing such a picture does nothing to the outbreak, but only causes panic, mutual blaming and even radical discrimination. We despise such a move," the Chinese embassy said on its official website.
The embassy said global challenges need to be addressed globally, and that German media shares the same responsibility as everyone.
在加拿大多倫多，為了應對反亞情緒（anti-Asian sentiment）抬頭，華人群體負責人及市議員召開新聞發佈會，提醒民眾不要對亞洲群體區別對待。
In Toronto, Canada, concerns about rising anti-Asian sentiment prompted city councilors and Chinese community leaders to call a news conference last week in order to remind residents that people of Asian descent are no more likely to have the virus than anyone else.
當地時間週六，加拿大總理特魯多在多倫多出席當地的華人新春拜年活動時，呼籲加拿大人團結起來，共同抵制由於害怕新型冠狀病毒傳播而產生的歧視行為。

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau further urged Canadians to stay united and warned against the rise of discrimination as fears of the coronavirus spread.
特魯多說：“加拿大沒有任何地方可以容忍由於恐懼和錯誤信息而產生的歧視！這從來都不是加拿大人所支持的。”
"There is no place in our country for discrimination driven by fear or misinformation," Trudeau said at a Lunar New Year celebration at a banquet hall in Toronto on Saturday. "This is not something Canadians will ever stand for."
當地時間週五，加拿大衛生部長海杜（Patty Hajdu）在接受加拿大廣播公司採訪時說，加拿大不會效仿美國因為中國新型冠狀病毒感染的肺炎疫情而宣佈全國進入公共衛生緊急狀態，也不會跟風美國限制中國人（或者最近去過中國的外國人）入境。
此外，針對因中國疫情而產生的排華行為，新加坡總理李顯龍稱，這是公共衛生事件，不是國家或種族的問題，排華行為愚昧且不合邏輯，無助於攻克疫情。

He addressed the recent bubbling of anti-China or anti-Chinese sentiment in many countries, and called it unhelpful to the cause of fighting the outbreak.
他就近日多國出現的排華情緒發聲表示，這無助於攻克疫情。
"That is foolish and illogical," PM Lee said in Mandarin."Even though the virus started in Wuhan, it doesn't respect nationality or race.It does not check your passport before it goes into your body.Anybody can be infected," he said.
李顯龍用中文說道：“這是愚蠢且不合邏輯的。雖然病毒發源於武漢，但這與國籍或種族無關。病毒進入你體內前，可不會查你護照。任何人都有被感染的可能。”
他強調各國需要和中國齊心協力，才能共同克服挑戰。
"(The outbreak) is a problem that all countries must work together to solve."
