举个：
You want to sell it at 100 bucks, I want to buy it at 60 dollars, how about we split the difference and go with 80.
你想卖100元, 我想60元买, 咱们折中一下, 80元如何？
click
合拍，有默契
The original meaning of click means make a clicking noise or a short metallic sound. Here means two people can get along well with each other.
举个：
We're really clicking as a couple.
我们彼此很有默契。
It's all uphill from there
从这之后就越来越好了（安慰人大招！）
这里其实有个小陷阱, 因为uphill本来是上坡路, 艰难的意思, an uphill struggle是指持续不断的困苦, 但在这里uphill又成了越来越好。
top-notch
of the highest quality，excellent, superb,最棒的，一流的(多用于口语)
举个：
This is a contingent of top-notch researchers.
这是一支高水平的科研队伍。
还可以用top-drawer来表示“一流的人或事物”
live paycheck to paycheck
俗话说就是“月光族”,这里指当年他们赚钱不多,生活拮据~
举个：
Back then, we were living paycheck to paycheck.
那时候，我们的日子很拮据~
on the same page
意思是达成共识，在同一个页面上，于是达成一致了。
举个：
出去玩之前，你要和你的朋友在玩什么的问题上达成一致，就可以说We would need to talk about our plans and get on the same page before we leave.
