With 26 points, Gyeongnam is fourth in the table after winning seven of the 16 played so far, losing only four and scoring 22 goals. They are unbeaten in the last two, losing only one of the last seven while keeping four clean sheets, and should be confident in playing again in front of their supporters, were they have lost only twice this season. They have won three of the eight league fixtures since getting promoted, but have kept an impressive number or four clean sheets in the process, including a classy 2-0 triumph over Pohang Steelers last week. They are unbeaten in the last three played against Incheon United, winning three of the last six played in the top tier of Korean football, and six of the 12 ever played.
Incheon United in the other hand sits rock bottom with 10 points after winning only one of 16 and losing eight, conceding 32 goals and being by far the worst defence in the competition. They are without a win in the last 14 games, losing seven of the last 11 and it’s been almost a year since the last time they won on the road (August 2017), so we expect the hosts to take the three points here.
