be動詞及人稱主格代詞
be動詞真偉大，生出am, is, are。I （我）用am，you (你)用are， is用於他(he) 她(she)它(it)。
男他he, 女她she，物它it勿忘記。單數名詞用is，複數名詞全用are。變疑問，往前提，句末問號莫丟棄。變否定，更容易，be後not莫忘記。疑問否定任你變，句首大寫莫遲疑。
There be句型用法口訣 There be句型有特點，主語放在be後邊。主語單數用is，複數主語要用are。變否定，很簡單，be後要把not添。變問句也不難，把be提到there前。肯定句中用some，否定/疑問any換。
名詞變複數巧記
1)單數名詞加s: students, apples, bags, trees, books, brothers.
2)以s、x、sh、ch結尾的名詞加es: glasses, boxes, brushes, matches.
3)以輔音字母加y結尾的名詞，變y為i加es: cities, babies, enemies.
4)以f或fe結尾的名詞，多數變f或fe為v加es: wives, knives.但有些詞只加s: roofs, proofs, chiefs.
巧記-o結尾的名詞複數只有hero, Negro, tomato和potato四個單詞必須加es構成複數，可記憶如下：①串連法：串連記憶為：a).黑人英雄愛吃西紅柿和馬鈴薯；b).Negroes are heroes. They live on potatoes and tomatoes.黑人是英雄。他們以馬鈴薯和西紅柿為食。②總結法：兩人(Negro,hero) 兩菜(tomato,potato)。
巧記-f(e)結尾的名詞複數樹葉半數自己黃，妻子拿刀去割糧，架後竄出一隻狼，就像強盜逃命忙。（leaf（樹葉），half（一半，半數），self（自己），wife（妻子），knife（刀子），shelf（架，架子），wolf（狼），thief（強盜），life（生命），這9個名詞變複數時，都要改-f(e)為v，再加-es，其他的以-f(e)結尾的名詞則直接加-s變複數。）
巧記各國人複數口訣"中、日"友好是一致，"英、法"聯盟a變e，其他一律加s。（Chinese與Japanese單複數同形，Englishman和Frenchman變複數時把a變成e；其他各國人變複數時全都在詞尾加-s）
