為應對新冠疫情，各國政府出臺了一系列強制隔離措施，科技成為維持社會運轉的一大支撐力量。然而，科技公司的運轉不可避免地受到了疫情的沉重打擊。中國在全力抗擊疫情的同時也大力推動科技發展，以保持經濟平穩運行。另一方面，特朗普政府出臺的抗疫政策正深深地影響著美國科技公司對疫情的評估。疫情後科技創新的發展方向如何？
2020年4月29日，全球化智庫（CCG）將舉辦線上會議，並邀請了美國信息技術和創新基金會主席Robert Atkinson，牛津大學技術與管理發展研究中心主任傅曉嵐，美國戰略與國際研究中心（CSIS）中國商務項目非常駐資深研究員、麥克拉迪高級主任John Holden，寬資本的創始人及董事長、CCG 副主席關新，美國灣區委員會經濟研究所所長Sean Randolph，京東集團副總裁、京東數字科技首席經濟學家沈建光以及復旦大學國際問題研究院院長、復旦大學美國研究中心主任

About the event
As lockdowns, “shelter-in-place” mandates, and social distancing are widely employed around the world to combat the spread of COVID-19, technology has a tremendous role to play in this unprecedented global crisis. Tech companies, however, are simultaneously being hit hard by the fallout of coronavirus and poised to spur innovation and growth. China, the first country experienced the coronavirus outbreak saw its technology sector step up efforts to keep citizens engaged with commerce and epidemic control during self-isolation. The impact of COVID-19 for US tech industry is currently being assessed while the Trump administration gearing up to fend off the economy and public health. This virtual conference presents a rare occasion where a group of technology policy experts and senior tech executives from China and around the world come together to discuss the experiences of tech community in the two countries during the crisis and issues concerning the future of innovation after the pandemic.

Dr. Robert D. Atkinson is founder and president of the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF), recognized as the world’s top think tank for science and technology policy. Dr. Atkinson has served as co-chair of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy’s China-U.S. Innovation Policy Experts Group; as a member of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Advisory Council on Innovation and Entrepreneurship; and on the U.S. State Department’s Advisory Committee on International Communications and Information.

She is also a member of the UN SDSN Leadership Council led by Jeffrey Sachs and a member of the Council for Global Economic Transformation co-chaired by Joseph Stiglitz and Michael Spence.

He is currently senior director and head of the China practice for McLarty Associates. He has served with distinction as chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in China, president of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations, founding associate dean of the Yenching Academy of Peking University, and president and CEO of the US-China Strong Foundation. He is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a member of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations.

Before joining Mizuho, Dr. Shen was senior economist at European Central Bank (ECB), where he was responsible for Asian economic forecast and analysis. Dr. Shen also held economist and senior economist positions at the IMF, OECD, Bank of Finland, and CICC, in addition to being a visiting scholar at PBOC.

沈建光教授現任京東集團副總裁、京東數字科技首席經濟學家，復旦大學泛海國際金融學院金融學客座教授。他曾任瑞穗證券亞洲有限公司董事總經理兼首席經濟學家。他也是中國新供給側經濟論壇的創始成員。在加入瑞穗之前，沈建光教授是歐洲央行（ECB）的高級經濟學家，負責亞洲經濟預測和分析。除在中國人民銀行擔任訪問學者外，沈博士還在國際貨幣基金組織、經合組織、芬蘭銀行和中金公司擔任經濟學家和高級經濟學家職務。
