起著雍摄提格，尽玄黓困敦，凡三十五年。
With a total time of 35 years, Zhou era lasted from Wu-yin year to Ren-zi year.

In the 23th year of King Weilie ( It is the Chinese Lunar Year of Wuyin, 403BC)
初命晋大夫魏斯、赵籍、韩虔为诸侯。
Zhou Dynasty monarch appoints three scholar-officials who named Weisi，Zhaojie and Hanqian as marquis ,the three scholar-officials all come from the state of Jin.
臣光曰：臣闻天子之职莫大于礼，礼莫大于分，分莫大于名。何谓礼？纪纲是也；何谓分？君臣是也；何谓名？公、侯、卿、大夫是也
The author said: I heard the major responsibility of monarch is to maintain feudal ethical code (ancient law and discipline) ，of which the most important is to distinguish between the monarch and his subjects，and the most important part of the distinguishment is to identify the peerage，such as duke，marquis， minister，scholar-official, among other titles of nobility.
