大噶好！啾啾今天想跟大家分享一個我自己覺得蠻有趣的領域——交響樂團。平常我們看很多音樂會，舞臺上都會有一支龐大的樂團互相配合演奏出華美的樂章。那這些樂團裡都有哪些樂器呢？我們今天就一起來學習一下交響樂團家族組成~ Let’s get started!
首先，交響樂團的英文是orchestra：
An orchestra (/ˈɔːrkɪstrə/) is a large instrumental ensemble（樂團）typical of classical music(古典音樂), which mixes instruments from different families, including string instruments as well as brass, woodwinds, and percussion instruments, each grouped in sections.
交響樂團是當今世上編制最龐大、最複雜的樂團型態，擁有極強大而廣泛的音樂表現力。交響樂團的樂器配置通常為：
絃樂器（Strings）：小提琴、中提琴、大提琴、低音提琴、豎琴等。
木管樂器（Woodwinds）：長笛、短笛、單簧管、雙簧管、英國管、大管（巴松管）等。
銅管樂器（Brass）：小號、短號、長號、圓號（法國號）、大號等。
打擊樂器（Percussion）：定音鼓、大鼓、小鼓、鑔、鑼、鈴鼓、三角鐵等。
有時還會加上鋼琴等鍵盤樂器（keyboards）。
接下來我們就一起看看這些樂器都可以怎麼用英文表達吧~
1. Strings 絃樂器
The standard modern violin family consists of the violin, viola, cello, and double bass.
絃樂器裡最有名的要屬提琴家族。這裡提琴分四種：小提琴（violin）、中提琴（viola）、大提琴（cello）以及低音提琴（double bass）。
像近期很火的一部日劇“四重奏”（Quartet）中的主角們演奏的就都是提琴家族裡的樂器，由兩把小提琴、一把中提琴和一把大提琴組成。
在提琴中，弓為bow，而相應的弦我們稱之為string。
這裡衍生出來有一個習語：“have another string/more strings to your bow”意為to have more than one skill or plan that you can use if you need to，即“做兩手準備”。
2. Woodwinds 木管樂器
木管樂器包括長笛、薩克斯風等等。
a. The Western concert flute is a woodwind instrument made of metal or wood. A musician who plays the flute is called a flutist/flute player.
長笛是我個人很喜歡的一個樂器，由金屬或者木材做成，音色清透靈動。
b. The saxophone(also referred to as the sax) is a family of woodwind instruments. Saxophones are usually made of brass and is used in classical music, military bands, marching bands, and jazz.
薩克斯風通常由黃銅製成，運用場合十分廣泛，在古典樂、軍樂隊、爵士樂中都可以找到它的身影。
3. Brass 銅管樂器
銅管樂器中最為人熟悉的莫過於小號（trumpet）了。
A trumpet is a brass instrument commonly used in classical and jazz ensembles. The trumpet group contains the instruments with the highest register(音區) in the brass family.
小號常用於古典樂或爵士樂，是銅管樂器家族中的高音樂器。
4. Percussion 打擊樂器
打擊樂器中很重要的一部分是定音鼓（timpani）：
Timpani evolved from military drums to become a staple(主要部分) of the classical orchestra by the last third of the 18th century. Today, they are used in many types of ensembles, including concert bands, marching bands, orchestras, and even in some rock bands.
定音鼓在當今最主要的用途是被使用於交響樂團中屬於打擊樂的部分，這個角色的任務是在演奏時將曲子帶入高潮並將音樂的趣味性帶入曲中，通常用來強調一首曲子的節奏構造。
5. Keyboards 鍵盤樂器
a. Piano 鋼琴
被稱為“樂器之王”的鋼琴相信大家都很熟悉了。鋼琴也下分幾種：
Grand piano 三角鋼琴
Upright/vertical piano 直立鋼琴
b. Pipe Organ 管風琴
The pipe organ is a musical instrument that produces sound by driving pressurized(加壓的) air (called wind) through organ pipes selected via a keyboard. A pipe organ has one or more keyboards played by the hands, and a pedal board(踏板) played by the feet.
管風琴屬於氣鳴式樂器，音量洪大、氣勢雄偉，音色優美、莊重。
