other和another
兩個詞都有“另外”的含義，基本用法用一個表格列出：
堅小持微課
Other people may not think in that way.
別人可能不那樣想。（作定語，泛指）
Others may object to your idea.
其他人可能會反對你的意見。
（作主語，泛指）
Where are the other guests?
其他客人在哪裡？（作定語，特指）
注意：
other和another與數詞連用時候，位置不同。
Ten other days 另外十天（泛指）
Another ten days 另外十天（泛指）
The other ten days 另外那十天（特指）

a little和a bit
這兩個詞組都可以單獨使用，相當於名詞，代指不可數名詞。A little可以直接修飾不可數名詞，a bit後面需要加of才能修飾不可數名詞。
There is only a bit of/a little room left for the furniture.
這裡只剩一點空間放傢俱。
The professor talked a little/a bit about his latest research.
教授就他最近的研究稍加講述。
注意：
Not a little表達“很，非常”，而not a bit的意思是“一點也沒有，一點也不”。
例句：
He is not a bit angry.
他一點也不生氣。
He is not a little angry.
他非常生氣。
