other和another
两个词都有“另外”的含义，基本用法用一个表格列出：
坚小持微课
Other people may not think in that way.
别人可能不那样想。（作定语，泛指）
Others may object to your idea.
其他人可能会反对你的意见。
（作主语，泛指）
Where are the other guests?
其他客人在哪里？（作定语，特指）
注意：
other和another与数词连用时候，位置不同。
Ten other days 另外十天（泛指）
Another ten days 另外十天（泛指）
The other ten days 另外那十天（特指）

a little和a bit
这两个词组都可以单独使用，相当于名词，代指不可数名词。A little可以直接修饰不可数名词，a bit后面需要加of才能修饰不可数名词。
There is only a bit of/a little room left for the furniture.
这里只剩一点空间放家具。
The professor talked a little/a bit about his latest research.
教授就他最近的研究稍加讲述。
注意：
Not a little表达“很，非常”，而not a bit的意思是“一点也没有，一点也不”。
例句：
He is not a bit angry.
他一点也不生气。
He is not a little angry.
他非常生气。
