雅思寫作，語法知識是必備要掌握的基礎，其中最需要介紹的就是定語從句、賓語從句、狀語從句3個語法點。

— 必備語法知識點 —
雅思寫作5.5分以上必備三大經典從句：定語從句、賓語從句、狀語從句一定要了解！
定語從句：
多用who(指人)、which(指物)、that(即可指人也可以指物)，還有一個經典的容易被忽視的定語從句在大作文中可以表達事件發生的原因：即由why引導的固定句型...the reason(s) why...
例句：
There may be some reasons why entertainment stars earn high salaries but overall Iagree that they are overpaid.
賓語從句：
文章中提出觀點的好句型，無論是你自己的觀點還是文章中原來給出的觀點都可以。建議多用that引導的，不容易出錯，如：some people think/agree/suggest/insist that...
例句：
A growing number of parents believe that being overly dependent on social networkingwebsites only makes their children more isolated in the real world.
狀語從句：
狀語的種類特別多，所以狀語從句是你最能夠表現句型多樣化的機會。牢記以下幾種狀從的分類，句子的豐富性自然就出來了：
A.時間狀語從句引導詞：
when/as/while/since/the moment...
例句：
The related sectors should take effective measures the moment the problem appeared.
B.地點狀語從句引導詞：
where/wherever
例句：
Generally，air will be heavily polluted where there are factories.
C.原因狀語從句引導詞：
because/since/as/seeing that...
例句：
As this policy would also affect the cost of public transport, it would be very unpopularwith everyone who needs to travel on the roads.
D.條件狀語從句引導詞：
if/as long as/providing that/provided that...
例句：
The government will increase its support for public education, provided that such funds canbe put to good use.
E.讓步狀語從句/即轉折關係引導詞：
though/although/while/
no matter who/where/which/how...
例句：
While (表示二者對比)some people link happiness to wealth and material success, othersthink it lies in emotions and loving personal relationships. *Even though it is unlikely that all workers do feel happy in their work, I think it is notunrealistic to promote more job satisfaction in any job.
— 因果邏輯相關詞彙 —
因果關係的表達中大家最熟悉的莫過於BS（because / so），還有很多其它表示因果關係的表達。
Because系列（表原因）
1. because of ：because後接的是一個句子（主謂賓）；because of 後一般直接跟名詞。
2. as / since （除了“因為“外，還有”自從”的意思，使用時要注意避免歧義）
3. thanks to （positive situations 通常適用於結果好的時候）
due to （negative situations通常使用與結果不好的時候）
owing to / attributable to /on account of
4.當原因需要的表達較多時，我們還可以把以上表達改寫為原因狀語從句，使用thanks to the fact that / due to the fact that / owing to the fact that 或者on the grounds that ...
5. caused by / result from 也表原因
So系列（表結果）
1. thus/ therefore / thereby / hence
thus：表示‘in this/that way’
therefore：表示 ‘for this reason’ /‘because of this or that’
thereby：by that means， as a result of that
hence：表示 ‘from this/that’
2. as a result / as a consequence
3. consequently /accordingly
consequently 更偏重因果邏輯；accordingly 更偏重後續解決
名詞系列（因果）
1. cause （of sth）/ reason 原因
Obesity can be divided into three main causes – diet, lifestyle and education.
2. result （for sth）/ effect 結果
Another result is lack of self-esteem.
3. causality 因果關係（cause and effect） causation 原因
The correlation between population and housing price does not indicated causality, only the association.
4. impact/influence 影響
This area is often overlooked but has a tremendous impact on your life.
形容詞系列（因果）
表示因果的形容詞不是很常用，使用時多和 factor, element 結合。
1. causal 原因的，因果的
Low income and elderly are among the potential causalfactors of prevalence of obesity among adults.
2. consequential 結果的，隨之發生的
Measures other than ratings will prove more consequential.
3. influential 影響的，有影響力的（大多數情況下使用第二個意思）
Family is the most influential factor on happiness.
