To accommodate the requests of a variety of domestic and international readers who wish to read about people-to-people exchange, public diplomacy, and peace studies, the Charhar Institute made some changes to its publications. In January 2018, the Charhar Newsletter, an English-language monthly, merged with the Belt & Road Research Dynamic. The new Charhar Newsletter includes précis of news and events, reports on major events, interviews, information about the BRI, fellows’ books and selected articles. It became the only monthly that covers up-to-date policy analysis and recent events of the Charhar Institute. Zhou Hucheng, the Executive Vice Secretary General of the Charhar Institute, is the editor-in-chief. Advisor and former ambassador Lv Fending wrote a piece of Chinese calligraphy as the logo.
