Fifty objective questions:
There were 15 singles, 5 dialogues in the second item, 10 cloze tests and 20 reading comprehension tests.
II. 70 Subjective Questions:
1. Complete the dialogue by 5 points
2. Translate 15 sentences, of which 5 points are Chinese-English partial translation, 6 points are whole sentence translation and 4 points are English-Chinese translation.
3. Choose words and fill in 10 points
4. Task-based Reading 20 Points
5. Writing: 5 points for small composition and 15 points for large composition.

Grammar mainly examines prepositions, articles, collocations of verbs and various tenses and voices.

這就要求具備牢固的基礎知識，要有良好的答題習慣,要掌握基本的搭配或句型,要綜合語境、時態。同時要培養一定的閱讀能力和組織語言能力，還有是寫作是對綜合能力的考查。這些都需要靠平時有針對性的系統學習。
臨近中考，可以做一下近幾年的歷年真題，找一下答題感覺。每次做題都要像正式考試一樣計時。考完後都要進行總結，發現自己的弱點。並把自己常錯誤的題記到一個專用的本子上，做重點複習。保證以後遇到類似的不會再出錯。
