sky long earth last

sky earth where by able

long even last hereof

by yon not self generate

hence able long live

here by sage persons

recede yon body

and body precede

exclude yon body

and body exist

ain't by yon

won't own yeah

hence able make yon own

sky is long and earth last

sky and earth whereby able

to be long and lasting

by which don't generate themselves

hence be able to long live

hereby sage persons

recede their body

but body precede

exclude there body

and body exist

ain't for they

won't own yeah?

hence be able make their own

天長地久

天地都運行很長久了

天地所以能長且久者

以其不自生 故能長生

天地之所以能那麼長久啊 因為他們不自己生自己 天不生天 地不生地 所以能長生 我們人類動植物 各生各的後代 所以就不能長生了

是以聖人 後其身 而身先 外其身 而身存

所以說聖人啊 把自己的得失放在群眾利益後面 所以大家都擁戴他 讓他走在最前面 因為他就代表了大家的所思所想 把自己放到自己的身體之外 也就是不再以個人追求為目標 所以他的身體得以永存 比方說以塑像的形式

非以其無私耶？故能成其私

我們到各地旅遊 常常看到某某人的紀念館 這些先賢哪個不是為一方人民謀福利 甚至為天下人民謀幸福的人呢 這些能夠永存的聖人 難道不是因為他們的無私嗎？ 所以人們反而把功績或者成就都冠以他們的名字
