sky long earth last

sky earth where by able

long even last hereof

by yon not self generate

hence able long live

here by sage persons

recede yon body

and body precede

exclude yon body

and body exist

ain't by yon

won't own yeah

hence able make yon own

sky and earth whereby able

to be long and lasting

by which don't generate themselves

hence be able to long live

hereby sage persons

recede their body

but body precede

exclude there body

and body exist

ain't for they

won't own yeah?

hence be able make their own

天长地久

天地都运行很长久了

天地所以能长且久者

以其不自生 故能长生

天地之所以能那么长久啊 因为他们不自己生自己 天不生天 地不生地 所以能长生 我们人类动植物 各生各的后代 所以就不能长生了

是以圣人 后其身 而身先 外其身 而身存

所以说圣人啊 把自己的得失放在群众利益后面 所以大家都拥戴他 让他走在最前面 因为他就代表了大家的所思所想 把自己放到自己的身体之外 也就是不再以个人追求为目标 所以他的身体得以永存 比方说以塑像的形式

非以其无私耶？故能成其私

我们到各地旅游 常常看到某某人的纪念馆 这些先贤哪个不是为一方人民谋福利 甚至为天下人民谋幸福的人呢 这些能够永存的圣人 难道不是因为他们的无私吗？ 所以人们反而把功绩或者成就都冠以他们的名字
