说"old"就是典型的中式英语啦，我们平常说的"老"就是烹饪的时候太久了，熟过了，就是overcooked。
英文还有个词是"tough"，也可以表示肉的“硬，难嚼”。

flesh就是“鲜肉，人肉”，in the flesh表示见到“真人”。
