我們之前學習了從句、介詞短語表原因，今天繼續花樣表因果——用動詞和動詞短語表原因。
1、說到動詞表因果關係，大家首先想到的是cause
cause做動詞時，表"造成，導致”的意思，尤其指造成不好的事情發生。
cause做動詞表因果關係時，一般有三種用法:
1.cause sth The difficult driving conditions caused several accidents.
2. cause sb/sth to do The bright light caused her to blink.
3. cause sb sth I hope the children haven't caused you too much trouble.
2、result in, lead to, bring about 三者都表示“引起，導致’的意思。
Your positive thoughts and words result in positive actions.
New ways of thinking lead to opportunities and growth.
Changes in habitat may bring about the reduction in some species.
在使用這三個短語的時候，要注意-點: 它們後面通常跟名詞或名詞短語。
3、contribute to也是比較常見的表示因果關係的短語。它的本意是對...作貢獻"，
表示不好的方面時相當於“造成，導致"。There are 6 main factors that contributeto depression.
表示好的方面相當於"有助於”。
The increased taxes and the television advertising both contribute to the reduction of smoking.
