巴菲特提到整個飛行行業已經保持了難以置信的安全飛行記錄，全美超過十年沒有發生過致死性的商業飛機致死事件。因為巴菲特旗下有保險公司，所以他知道商業飛行已經非常安全，所以保費非常便宜。

I can not tell you the percentages I don't know. But I know it's very high of certainly the corporate business. We have government business, we have some airline business. But I don't expect any great change in the flight training business. "
巴菲特表示模擬飛行的模式已經很好，波音墜毀事件不會改變行業多少。
顯然巴菲特對737Max的看法是：這只是一個普通事件，並沒有將其上升到對波音或者整個行業的有決定的影響。
