7月26日拼多多在美上市掛牌，發行價為19美元總市值達到了240億美金。上市第五天 拼多多股價盤中跌破發行價。自上市以來，拼多多幾乎沒有過上一天好日子，平臺上的假貨和山寨品一直備受質疑，讓這家三歲的公司焦頭爛額。
8月1日，美國六家律師事務所宣佈，將代表投資者們展開對拼多多的集體訴訟，以追回投資者們因此蒙受的損失。值得注意的是，拼多多在美國遭遇集體訴訟，直接原因並非假貨和山寨產品問題，而是因為其股價大跌導致美國投資者利益受損。
