真是忙碌的一天!喂饱了三个小孩,又给他们洗完澡换上睡衣,玛丽开始给他们讲故事,最后他们也都睡着了。她想,当三个男孩的保姆可真累人啊! (分别为四岁、六岁、八岁的男孩)

心想:睡觉?!要是我能这样就好了!但她还有艰巨的任务要做。她靠着椅背,把脚舒适地放在沙发上。无论谁说,照顾孩子是种很容易的赚钱方式——那这个人明显没有见识过这三个小孩。电视开着,房间很暖和,而且灯光也很暗淡。此时的玛丽,眼皮感到越来越沉重。她想,我绝对不能睡——当然,这也正是她在做的。

奇怪的是,她很快梦见自己成为了世界著名的厨师。发财后的她,戴着钻石,穿着名牌(设计师衣服);大多数的日子都在泳池边休闲,和富人聚会或做着自己最喜爱的事——读书。甚至还做了自己电视节目的主演。
