Long time ago, there was a black bear living in the forest. 從前，森林裡住著一隻小黑熊。
He has been living in the forest for eight hundred years. 他在森林裡住了八百多年了，大家都叫他奇奇熊。
和他為伴的是森林裡一千多歲的老樹還有一隻兩百年前他收養的狐狸，怪怪狸。
森林裡有很多新來的夥伴們，他們大多壽命都只有幾十年。
No one else has been living for as long as they have been. 沒有動植物和奇奇熊、老樹、怪怪狸那麼長壽。
奇奇熊活了那麼久，見慣了小夥伴們來來往往，走走停停，他一直很悠閒的活在森林裡，不問世事。
One day, a group of people visited the forest. 有一天，森林裡來了一隊人類。他們是著名的探險家，正在參加一個比賽。
Their goal was to find the oldest tree in the forest, cut it down and bring it back for the first prize. 他們的目標是找到森林裡最古老的樹木，並將樹木砍回去才可以奪得大獎。
The fox was the first one to notice the humans. 怪怪狸是第一個發現這群人的。
他飛奔著回來告訴了奇奇熊和老樹：“There were a group of people at the entrance of the forest. 有一幫人類，在森林的入口了。They want to find the oldest tree and cut it down, then move our friend back to the city. 他們要找到老樹，並砍下來搬回城市裡！”
奇奇熊原本正在慵懶的喝著茶，邊和老樹聊著天，聽到這個消息後十分氣憤，把杯子猛地摔在地上：“The humans are cruel, the tree has been my friends for eight hundred years. I can't let them hurt my old friend. 人類太殘忍了，老樹是我八百年的夥伴，我不能讓人類傷害他！”
但是奇奇熊是個善良的黑熊，也不想讓人類受傷。
於是，他想到了一個辦法，大叫道：“Fox, go and get me some thin branches and new leaves. 怪怪狸，去給我找些細細的枝幹和嫩嫩的樹葉來！”
怪怪狸飛快的完成了任務，搬回了一堆枝幹和葉子。
奇奇熊從山洞裡給老樹找了件緊身的衣服，把老樹的肚子縮的小小的，使他看起來細細的像一棵剛長大的細松。
怪怪狸找回來的枝幹都插到了衣服的口袋裡，枝幹上還用膠水貼滿了嫩綠色的新葉子。
After the make-up, the old tree looks like a two-year old pine tree. 做完這一堆裝扮，老樹看起來和一棵兩歲的小青松差不多。
奇奇熊和怪怪狸聽到了人類靠近的聲音，他們趕緊躲了起來。
人類在經過老樹時，覺得這棵小樹真是花枝招展的，一堆葉子貼在身上奇奇怪怪的，但是忙著完成任務的他們也沒有多想，帶著疑惑繼續向前去找古老的大樹去了。
他們在森林裡找了一天一夜，最後無功而返，灰溜溜的回到了城市。
After making sure that the humans were away, the bear removed the branches and clothes from the old tree. 奇奇熊在確認人類遠去之後，就幫老樹把身上的樹枝和緊身衣都脫掉了。
They started their tea and conversations again. 他們又開始悠哉遊哉的在一起喝茶聊天了。
