由於大陸考區將進入中國農曆新年，因而1月下旬的最後一場考試轉移到了今天。小作文的原題目前還沒有拿到，網友回憶版的大作文真題如下：
With growing population in cities, more and more people live in a home with small or no outdoor arears. Is it a positive or negative development?
雖然此題在大陸考區第一次出現，但是2017年10月5日澳洲考區考過一道與之十分相似的題目：
More and more people in the city live in small space or without outdoor space. Do you think it is a negative or positive development?
其實在 中我提到過，“利弊分析”類題目的topic基本都是“現象”，極少涉及到“觀點”，而這道題的話題現象可以快速準確地判斷為"live in a home with small or no outdoor arears".

開頭段的寫作。當我拿到題目的一瞬間，滿腦子都是蝸居的生活好辛苦，觀點多到足夠我以“一邊倒”的思路完成全篇寫作。因為我的開頭段如下：
With the population explosion[1] in major cities[2], an increasing number of people are living in narrow space. In my opinion, this issue brings about grave repercussions[3] on their daily lives.
[1]. population explosion. 人口爆炸；
[2]. major cities. 大城市；
[3]. grave repercussions. 嚴重後果。
【三】
主體段的寫作。如上所述，我會採取“一邊倒”的思路展開“蝸居”的“弊”。那麼現在我需要brainstorm，快速想出“弊”有哪些。
- entertainment：沒有outdoor areas，少了很多和家人的娛樂。
- children's development：也是因為沒有室外空間。
- inconvenience：狹小的空間使一些超好用的household electronic appliances沒處放置。
- social life：來了客人，很難周到地款待。
Main body1:
[Topic sentence]Insufficient space is likely to cause dwellers much inconvenience and even trouble for their social life. [Explanation1]To be specific, such residential condition may allow no room for household electronic appliances, such as a large-capacity oven and washing machine, which facilitate the performance of household work. In other words, people have to do housework with their own hands without these appliances. [Explanation2]They will also stand inactive social life when living in a home with small space. This is because it seems to be unrealistic to invite a big party of guests to celebrate traditional festivals during which they can improve relations with their relatives and friends.

[Topic sentence]Apart from what has been discussed above, I also believe that living with no outdoor areas gives rise to lack of entertainment and disadvantages children's grow-up. [Explanation1]Without a courtyard, where dwellers enjoy barbecues, a swim and teatime, it is hard to imagine how tedious family life can be. A typical case in point is that many people living in humble adobe have to sit around at home on weekends. [Explanation2]A cramped dwelling is also disadvantaged to children's personal development. As a wide range of outdoor activities become unavailable, kids lose many opportunities to get well along with little pals and do physical exercise on a regular basis.

This is because it seems to be unrealistic to invite a big party of guests to celebrate traditional festivals during which they can improve relations with their relatives and friends.
Apart from what has been discussed above, I also believe that living with no outdoor areas gives rise to lack of entertainment and disadvantages children's grow-up.
