The little cat goes fishing
One day, the mother cat and the little cat go fishing by the river.
The little cat sees a dragonfly. He puts down the fishing rod to catch the butterfly. But the dragonfly flies away, he has to go back to the river. He sees his mother already has a big fish.
After a while, the little cat sees a butterfly. He puts down the fishing rod again to catch the butterfly. But the butterfly flies away, he still get nothing. When he goes back to the river, he sees that mother has another big fish.
He says: “ Why I can’t get a fish?”
His mother says: “ If you fish, just fish carefully. Don’t be half-hearted. You catch dragon-fly and butterfly when you are fishing, how can you get a fish?”
The little cat follows his mother’s words, he sits by the river and fishes.
Dragonfly comes again, butterfly comes again, the little cat just pretends he doesn’t see them.
After a while, the little cat gets a big fish too. He is so happy.

單詞：
go fishing 去釣魚
fish 做名詞意思是魚，單複數同形，複數不能加es
做動詞意思是釣魚，第三人稱單數形式為fishes
所以看到fishes 就是釣魚的三單形式而不是複數
by the river 在河邊
dragonfly 蜻蜓（dragon 龍，fly 飛，合在一起就是飛行
的龍，也就是蜻蜓啦）
butterfly 蝴蝶 （butter是黃油的意思，合在一起是會飛的
黃油？不知老外怎麼想的！）

小貓釣魚
一天，貓媽媽帶著小貓去河邊釣魚。
小貓看見了一隻蜻蜓，他就放下魚竿去抓蜻蜓。但是蜻蜓飛走了，他只好回到河邊。他看見媽媽已經釣到了一條大魚。過了一會，小貓看見了一隻蝴蝶，他又放下魚竿去抓蝴蝶，但是蝴蝶飛走了，他依然什麼也沒抓到。當他回到河邊的時候，他看見媽媽又釣了一條大魚。
他說：“為什麼我就釣不到魚呢？”
他媽媽說：“如果你釣魚，就專心地釣。不要三心二意的。你釣魚的時候，又抓蜻蜓又抓蝴蝶的，怎麼能釣到魚呢?”
小貓聽了媽媽的話，他就坐在河邊釣魚。
蜻蜓又飛過來了，蝴蝶又飛過來了，小貓就假裝沒有看見它們。過了一會，小貓也釣到了一條大魚。他開心極了。
