Background
GreenbergFarrow為上海寶華集團設計的虹口寶華商業廣場即將完成，它將是一個融合於文化歷史保護區的商業新地標，同時也展現了寶華集團獨特的商業眼光。
Hongkou Baohua Plaza which is the design from Greenberg Farrow's for Baohua Group is nearing completion. The building will be a new commercial landmark integrated into the Cultural and Historical Reserve. Meanwhile, it demonstrates the unique business vision of Baohua Group.
項目位於上海市山陰路風貌保護區，山陰路，長山路，四川北路，溧陽路交界

Concept
建築立面模擬山谷的形態，模仿天然翡翠石的紋理和首飾摺疊藝術來展現洞天之美。
Treatment of façade mimics the natural valley, it is designed as natural jade stone and folding jewelry arts to show the cavernous beauty.
通過建築體量所形成的層層退臺，其將成為人們室外休息的區域，在避開周邊喧鬧街道影響的同時，可俯瞰周邊歷史保護建築。
Based on the massing design, the terraces provide people space for having rest and away from the noisy traffic. At the same time, people can enjoy the beautiful view for the surrounding historical conservation area.
概念演變concept development
為了確保場地北側風貌保護住宅建築冬至日的日照有效時間不少於連續一小時，在項目設計前期通過太陽高度角計算出由北向南退臺形態。
In order to ensure the continuous sunlight is not less than on hour at the winter solstice of the historical residential buildings in the north side. Through the calculate of solar height angle, the terraces are designed to retreat from north to south.
