最近看了太多傷心事，疫情導致世界上各種矛盾激化、人際關係四分五裂，作為一個想站在中間的人，真的很希望大家能多一些互相理解，而不是互相歧視和貶低。不同國家不同文化不同價值觀，這些都沒有對錯，大家只是不一樣而已。要命還是要自由？戴不戴口罩？每個人的答案和標準都不一樣，大家可以不一樣，但請不要去攻擊跟自己不一樣的人，我不奢求什麼世界和平Love&Peace，只希望能多一些互相理解和尊重。
There’s so much craziness going on in the world right now, everything is falling apart, I hope there could be more understanding of each other rather than attacking and discriminating each other. Different countries different cultures and different values, which is more important freedom or life? To wear or not wear masks? Everyone has different standards and ways to judge things, we can be different but there’s no need to attack those differences, especially at a time like this. I do not have wild wishes like world love&peace, only a little more understanding and respect.
Coco Wang. A comic artist based in Beijing. She went to study in the UK at the age of 15. She graduated with a BA theatre Design from Wimbledon School of Art and MA Illustration from Kingston University. She won the Highly Commended Award of MacMillan Children's Books Competition of 2008, and participated in the Lingua Comica 2008 hosted by Asia-Europe Foundation and Kyoto International Manga Museum. She worked in the production studios of the Royal Opera House of Covent Garden; collaborated with American theatre master Robert Wilson in London Babican Theatre; assistant and advisor to British comic historian Paul Gravett on exhibition China Comics Now in London College of Communication. She is working as a frehe is working as a freelance artist between Beijing, Hongkong and London on comics, illustrations and graphic design.
Coco, 居住在北京的漫畫作者。她15歲時去英國留學，在倫敦溫博爾敦藝術學院獲得舞臺美術設計本科學位，金斯頓大學獲得插畫碩士學位。2008年，她榮獲了英國麥克米倫兒童圖書高度推薦獎，並參與了亞歐基金會舉辦的lingua comica漫畫合作項目，在日本京都國際漫畫博物館製作漫畫、辦展。她曾在倫敦考文特花園的英國皇家歌劇院工作實習，並作為美國劇院大師羅伯特·威爾森的助手在倫敦巴比肯劇院工作。在2008年倫敦的中國漫畫展上，她以顧問和助理身份與英國漫畫歷史學家保羅·葛拉維特，在倫敦傳媒學院合作辦展。現在她以自由職業者身份，在北京進行漫畫、插畫、平面設計等工作。
